Private Senior Care & Companionship
Hi, I'm Stephanie. I provide one-on-one companionship and personal support for seniors in Summerlin and nearby areas, helping them remain independent while giving their families peace of mind.
As we age, daily life can start to look a little different. Often, what helps most isn't intensive medical care, but having a trusted companion to provide support, consistency, and a helping hand along the way.
I've spent several years working closely with older adults, primarily individuals living with Alzheimer's and dementia. That experience has taught me a great deal about patience, flexibility, and the importance of meeting someone exactly where they are. With a background in psychology and counseling, I bring a calm, compassionate presence to every visit.
Whether we're running errands, sharing a meal, heading to an appointment, or simply spending time together, I bring a consistent, familiar presence to the everyday moments that make up life.

More Than A Caregiver
I'm not just a caregiver who clocks in for the day. I become an ally, a familiar face, and, over time, often something closer to a friend or extended family.
That kind of relationship develops naturally through time and consistency. We get to know each other's personalities, routines, stories, sense of humor, and the little things that make each day feel familiar.
The right fit matters, too. I want there to be a natural sense of connection from the beginning, where both the individual and their family feel comfortable with me and I feel confident that I can genuinely be there for them. Sometimes, you just know.
And that connection matters because people tend to thrive when they feel safe, understood, valued, and genuinely cared for. I've seen it over and over again: even when someone's health is gradually declining, having the right person beside them can make everyday life feel lighter. They become more engaged, more at ease, more connected, and often simply happier. That's the kind of difference I want to make.
Specialized Alzheimer's & Dementia Care
Over the years, I've worked closely with individuals experiencing Alzheimer's disease and dementia, supporting them through every stage of the journey, from early memory changes to advanced care and hospice.
This work has taught me the value of patience, routine, flexibility, and emotional presence. I've learned how to create calm environments, support daily routines, adapt to changing abilities, and help individuals maintain as much comfort, dignity, and independence as possible.
No two people experience memory loss the same way, which is why I approach each day with curiosity, compassion, and a willingness to meet people exactly where they are.

How I Can Help
Companionship & Connection
Meaningful companionship is at the heart of my work. I provide a steady, supportive presence that helps make everyday life feel a little more connected, engaging, and enjoyable.
Conversation & Companionship: Friendly conversation, shared activities, and genuine connection.
Outings & Social Engagement: Accompaniment to community events, favorite local spots, appointments, or social activities.
Movement & Mobility Support: Encouragement and assistance with walks and other activities that help maintain mobility and confidence.
Cognitive Engagement: Memory games, sensory activities, puzzles, music, or exploring new interests together.
Personal Assistance & Household Management
I help manage the everyday tasks that make life feel easier, more organized, and less overwhelming.
Errands & Everyday Tasks: Grocery shopping, local errands, sorting mail, and keeping calendars and appointments organized.
Reliable Transportation: Providing safe rides and accompaniment around town.
Household Support: Handling light housekeeping, maintaining clean, safe living spaces, and preparing light, nutritious meals.
Hands-On Personal Care
When a little more hands-on support is needed, I provide respectful care that helps maintain comfort, safety, and dignity.
Daily Routine Assistance: Providing careful, respectful help with different parts of the day, including assistance with dressing and preparing meals.
Personal Care Assistance: Offering private, gentle assistance with personal grooming, bathing, or toileting.
Mobility Support: Providing a reassuring hand or physical stability while navigating obstacles, moving between rooms, or getting up from a comfortable chair.
Medication Prompts: Providing attentive reminders and helping keep medication schedules organized.
A More Personal Approach
One of the greatest comforts for both seniors and their families is consistency.
When you work with me, you always know who is walking through the door. There are no rotating caregivers, no shift changes, and no need to continually explain routines, preferences, or concerns to someone new.
Over time, I become familiar with the little things that matter: favorite meals, daily habits, preferred routines, changing needs, and the personality of the person I'm caring for. That familiarity builds trust, comfort, and a sense of stability.
Because I work independently, communication stays simple. If something changes or you have a question, you can call or text me directly. Because I know the person I'm caring for, I can notice when something feels different and respond accordingly.
I provide more than support. I'm a reliable, consistent presence that families can count on and seniors can genuinely look forward to seeing.

Simple, Straightforward Pricing
I keep my pricing simple: a flat rate for shorter visits and one consistent hourly rate for longer visits. You only pay for the time you need, with no complicated packages or long-term commitments.
The 2-Hour Visit | $65 --- Up to two hours of one-on-one support for shorter, focused needs such as check-ins, medication reminders, or brief errands. The flat visit rate accounts for the travel and scheduling involved with shorter visits.
Care & Companionship | $30/hour --- For visits longer than two hours, including companionship, outings, appointments, errands, household assistance, and ongoing weekly support. The same $30/hour rate applies whether you need a single afternoon or regular weekly visits.
What This Looks Like For Your Budget
To help you plan, here is how typical weekly schedules translate to a flat budget:
4-Hour Visit | $120
12 Hours per week | $360
Custom Schedules: Any additional hours throughout your week are always billed at the same flat $30/hour rate. Need more or less support one week? Your schedule can adjust as your needs change.
Let's Connect
Finding the right person to spend time with a loved one is an important decision. I offer a complimentary 30-minute consultation so we can get to know each other, talk about what kind of support you're looking for, and see if we're a good fit.
We can meet in person or connect by phone, whichever you prefer. There's no pressure and no obligation. Just an opportunity to ask questions, talk through your needs, and see where things go from there.
